Packagenote (“the app”) is developed by luke (“we”, “us”). This page explains what data the app handles and how.

Data We Collect

Packagenote does not have a server or backend. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

The app stores, locally on your device only:

• Package details you enter (package ID, recipient, contents, arrival time)
• Photos you attach to a package, taken with the camera or chosen from your photo library
• Item option preferences you configure

Camera and Photo Library

The app requests camera and photo library access so you can attach a photo to a package record. Photos you take or select are copied into the app’s private storage on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.

Text Recognition (Label Scanning)

When you scan a shipping label, Packagenote runs on-device text recognition to help you pick out details like a package ID. This recognition happens entirely on your device — no image or recognized text is sent to us or any third party.

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone, because we never receive it in the first place. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.

Data Deletion

Since all data lives only on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing individual packages/photos in the app, or by uninstalling the app, which removes all associated local data.

Children’s Privacy

Packagenote does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, since it collects no data at all.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
